The Town Square
The Town Square serves as the heartbeat of Copper Valley. Today The Square is lined with shops, restaurants, day spas, wine tasting rooms, and plenty of festivals, concerts and special events. It also contains the new Gateway Hotel, a 29 room escape filled with serenity and fun. The Square is also proud to now have a Tesla Super Charger station with 12 individual chargers, giving you a convenient stop to charge your car as well as grab some lunch or shop around!
The Golf Club
As one of the top golf courses in California, this scenic and challenging course features both gentle and dramatic changes in elevation. Breathtaking views are just part of the experience, including dramatic views of the Sierras, Yosemite and a plentiful variety of wildlife. Natural lakes, streams and grasses frame each hole with flashed bleach white bunkers to excite your every shot.
Copper Valley’s Lake Tulloch, with more than 50 miles of shoreline, is the perfect playground for boaters, swimmers, kayakers, and anglers fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout and Largemouth and Smallmouth bass. For a change of scenery enjoy four other nearby lakes - New Hogan, Camanche, Don Pedro and New Melones. Four major rivers in the area offer whitewater rafting up to Class IV rapids, caving through multiple limestone cavern systems, and world-class fly fishing.
When you leave Copper Valley you are quickly transported into an agriculturally-rich region and a scenic drive takes you through California Gold Rush history, dozens of vineyards and wineries, a charming small town with a quaint and historic main street featuring 25 tasting rooms and complementary dining. Continue the journey through giant sequoia forests up to 11,000+ feet for an alpine experience quite different from the Mediterranean climate below.
